Modou Lamin Fatty is a young Gambian poultry farmer, currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture at the University of The Gambia (UTG). He is the founder and farm manager of ML’s Poultry Farm.
ML’s Poultry Farm is a Gambian owned farm in Brikama established in February 2018. They produce healthy, quality and affordable poultry products. Their products include broiler chickens, eggs, poultry manure, day old chicks. The farm also offers poultry consultancy services to others who are interested in the poultry sector. The aim of ML’s Poultry is to make poultry products affordable, contribute towards the SDG2 and create employment for youth thus contributing its quota to national development.
They also provide free delivery for bulk supply within the Greater Banjul Area. Modou Lamin Fatty, is a grantee of the Youth Empowerment Project Mini Grant Scheme, first runner up of the Young Agribusiness Award of the Rural Youth Award 2018 organized by GYIN Gambia. He is also a registered member of the Gambia Youth Chamber of Commerce.
