Alfu M Sarr is the CEO of Noble Business Initiative (NBI). He is an advanced diploma in information technology from Humanity First Institute of Technology, higher diploma in sales and marketing management from Sheikh Mahfous Institute of Technology and currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at the International Open University (IOU).
Noble Business Initiative (NBI) was established in December 2017 with the prime objective to combat the grass root causes of climate change, the high rate of poverty, youth unemployment, urban and irregular migrations and support rural youth through capacity development programs. NBI focuses on agro forestry, cashew business, bee keeping and in the near future shall invest into poultry, horticulture and sheep breeding.
Recently NBI with support from GYCC and Greenup Gambia conducted cashew planting exercise of 5000 seedlings at Ndofan Village North Bank Region to combat climate change, improve business growth and employment opportunities for youth.
Alfu has attended entrepreneurship trainings including the GYIN Gambia’s ELIT, Business Planning and Management of Income Generating Activities organized by Nema P2RS. He won the Young Business Innovation at GYIN Gambia’s Rural Youth Award 2018, he is also a grantee of the YEP mini grant.
He is a registered member of GAMBIA YOUTH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
